Bluebell Woods

These pretty earrings were created with the gorgeous Bluebell Woods photo in mind.
Created with Peridot Green Czech Crystals and Purple Vintage Lucite with Copper findings. The earwires actually started their life as headpins and I discovered that I had no copper earwires left so I made these earwires…

Mardi Bugs

I’m sure you have heard of the Mardi Gras – well this is the ‘Mardi Bugs’
This bracelet was inspired by the following Inspiration photo
Such a colorful photo needed something just as bright and happy and all I had were a ‘buggy’ pack of buttons – so….
I created this three strand memory wire bracelet, the masks look a little ‘buggy’ don”t they - Butterflies or something…
All the strands were seperate and I joined them together with a three way bar connector. This was one of the most fiddly things I have ever created.
It is now in the possession of my youngest daughter – Jacinda, I asked her to try it on so I could see how it looked and she loved it. So I gave it to her. She hasn’t taken it off yet.

Cool Waters

I created these earrings to fit two different challenges from two different groups…
First up the Bounties of Beads Boutique have an Imagination Station banner theme each fortnight and this time it’s…
Guess who creates the banner each time – yep it’s me and I just got this in under the wire as a new theme goes up tomorrow March 1st.
So I created these earrings today – they really are so pretty. Just like a cascading waterfall shimmering in the sun.
BUT they also fit in with the BeadHive’s March Gemstone Challenge – Aquamarine
They are made with 12mm Faceted Aquamarine beads, Aqua Pearls, Crystal AB Swarovski crystals and Sterling Silver.

Once Upon A Design Challenge – Part Two
Part two has the following eras…
The Middle Ages from 500 to 1300 – Gothic Period from 1300 to 1500
Renaissance from 1500 to 1620 – Baroque and Rocco Period from 1620 to 1760
I choose the Gothic Period and created this necklace with an old brooch and faux pearls to replicate the jewels worn in the image.
Introducing – Regal Elegance
This is not listed anywhere yet – I’m not sure it will be. I can’t really see any reason why someone would buy a necklace like this these days…

Winter Berries – Part 2

With the creation of my new earrings yesterday, I decided to make a complete set – which includes a necklace and bracelet.
I had just enough of the Swarovski Crystals in my stash to create these… and there aren’t anymore of the Lampwork beads left either.
