Beautiful Kyanite and Pearls

The gem of the month for a bead group I’m involved with is the beautiful Kyanite.

So I paired the little I had on hand with some lucious pearls and created a delicate little necklace and earring set.

Highlighted with shiny sterling silver.

I simply love how this set came out – hope you do too.

A Little Blue…

I’ve decided to do a few simpler earrings and this is what happened today…

Created with stunning swarovski encircled brass filigree beads and sparkling swarovski bicone crystals, in a gorgeous blue.

They are really very pretty.

Pink for Her and Blue for…

…Her

Well it is when we are talking about some stunning necklaces.

First – this pink one was created using the beautiful Coneflower as an inspiration.

Completed with various pink and frosted white glass beads, gold filled beads and goldplated chain.

Now for the Blue – The beginnings of this was the need to use the gorgeous Paua Shell pendant and the challenge for a piece of jewellery created with Apatite…

…this necklace also uses Black Onyx and Sterling Silver

I have also recently made this little set for a local lady to wear to a Melbourne Cup party, she was creating an outfit for herself with the colours in the set… but once made up she didn’t like it at all – but she kept the set, simply because they are her colours.

I put together a simple single strand of soft pink/peach pearls and a little drop of the pearls as earrings.  (Sorry no photo, but they are the same pearls as above)

Beautiful Lava

I joined in a swap back at the beginning of 2010, we were swapping Lava beads and this is what I received…

Recently I used some of these treasures and created this wonderfully rustic necklace.

This beautiful Lava Necklace has been listed on ArtFire.

Also uses pewter spacers and plated silver along with leather cord
